Projects are your main proof if you have little experience.
What each entry needs
- Project name and a one-line purpose
- Technologies used
- Two bullets on what you built and the result
- A link to the live app or code
Example
Student Attendance System (PHP, MySQL): built login, attendance entry and monthly reports for a class of sixty students; reduced manual register work. Link: your GitHub URL.
Only include projects you can explain in an interview.
A reusable pattern
Project name | technologies | link. Then two bullets: what you built and the result or scale. Add a third only if there is a meaningful challenge you solved.
Example for a non-coding student
Market Survey on Student Spending (Excel): collected 120 responses, cleaned the data and built a summary showing that food and travel took most of the budget. Presented findings to the class.
Projects are not only for programmers. Any piece of work with a clear method and outcome counts.
